Sending an assignment to more than one class

You can send an assignment across an entire grade, or to more than one class. All you need to do is make sure you're linked to that class as a supporting teacher. The classes you're linked to will all appear at the top of your Create Assignments page, and you can simply tick which classes should receive the assignment.

Many of our schools do this, and give the responsibility of setting one assignment across a grade to one teacher.

How to: Either ask your Siyavula school admin or contact us to link you to the classes you'd like to send assignments to.

Sharing an assignment

You can share an assignment you've created with another teacher. That teacher can then send out the assignment as is, or edit it by adding or deleting questions.

How to:

  1. Go to your Assignments page.
  2. Select the assignment you'd like to share by ticking the box to the left of the assignment.
  3. Click on the Share button above.

You'll then be able to share your assignment via email, or by copying the URL link, and sending this to another teacher.

Reusing an assignment

You can reuse previously created assignments, so you won't always have to start an assignment from scratch. When you reuse an assignment, you'll see all the questions previously chosen. You'll be able to edit the assignment, by adding new questions, and deleting questions you no longer want in the assignment.

How to:

  1. Go to your Assignments page.
  2. Select the assignment you'd like to reuse by ticking the box to the left of the assignment.
  3. Click on the Reuse button above.
